Baggage Policy

Passengers flying with Air Canada booking in Air Rouge or Air Canada Express and flights operated by Jazz, Air Georgian, and Sky Regional, are allowed to carry a single standard item and one personal luggage on board. Checked Baggage

Being an Air Canada, Air Canada Rouge or Air Canada Express passenger (flights controlled by Jazz, Air Georgian, and Sky Regional), the free luggage allowance is regulated by the passengers’ fare, destination, frequent flyer status and date of ticket purchase. In North America and Caribbean Economy Class and North America and Caribbean Rouge Class – passengers are offered with Air Canada Bistro Meals for purchase which includes, snacks, meals, breakfasts for dinners and lunches. The Bistro menu is available for most flights which are longer than 90 minutes, with fresh meals being available of flights of 2 or more hours and those departing before 10pm. 

The international premium rouge and North America and Caribbean Premium Rouge – Passengers are offered complimentary premium hot meals and snacks. In International Rouge, passengers are offered complimentary meals which vary depending on the flight times and routes. 

Air Canada Special Dietary Requirements

Within North America special meals are available in Premium Economy and Business Class. For passengers flying in International flights, special meals are available to the on all the classes where a meal service is provided. Any of the flights which are offers Air Canada Bistro service, in them special meals are not available, as the menu is already catering to many different tastes and requirements, including Kosher-certified products. 

The passengers which require a Kosher special meal, or any other special meals on flights departing from Germany or Switzerland, they need to order at least 24 hours prior to flight and departure time. For all the other requests and special meals, it is important that passengers request 18 hours before flying. It is important that everything is done online by contacting the Air Canada Reservations.
